Hi Can someone please advise that do we need to certify "Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate Certification" exam before appearing for certification "Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional Certification"

In other words, Is Associate exam prerequisite for Professional exam ?

Hi @Manu Kumar there is no prerequisite for the professional exam but it's better to first prepare for the associate.

I agreed with @Ajay Pandey, I will highly recommend to take the Associate first and then the Professional. I would like to share some preparation info here for the Associate exam, https://www.databricks.com/learn/certification/data-engineer-associate

Before taking the exam, it is recommended that candidates complete the practice exam https://files.training.databricks.com/assessments/practice-exams/PracticeExam-DataEngineerAssociate.pdf
