So, first of all, I would like to tell you that clearing any certificate(&lt;B&gt;except CKD and its siblings, which are really tough&lt;/B&gt;) does not mean that you have to have proficiency in that particular exam or technology. You just need to have an overview or some familiarity with the topic or technology.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(This is my wallet you can check my certificates here&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://credentials.databricks.com/profile/aviralbhardwaj414591/wallet" alt="https://credentials.databricks.com/profile/aviralbhardwaj414591/wallet" target="_blank"&gt;https://credentials.databricks.com/profile/aviralbhardwaj414591/wallet&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are aspiring to crack that particular examination so here are the points/guide on how to do so.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;First, we have to understand the topic in that particular exam so below is some required information that you would need to know in the spark associate examination&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Topics In Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At the minimum, you should be able to:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Understanding the basics of the Spark architecture, including Adaptive Query Execution&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Apply the Spark DataFrame API to complete individual data manipulation tasks, including:&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;selecting, renaming, and manipulating columns&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;filtering, dropping, sorting, and aggregating rows&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;joining, reading, writing, and partitioning DataFrames&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;working with UDFs and Spark SQL functions&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;While it will not be explicitly tested, the candidate must have a working knowledge of either Python or Scala.
