&lt;P&gt;However, here are some other suggestions which we can use to monitor a streaming job and be stuck in a "hung" state.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;If it is a stateless stream, we can also turn on&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN class="il"&gt;spark&lt;/SPAN&gt;.&lt;SPAN class="il"&gt;speculation&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;by setting it to true.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Set job notifications.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
