Getting Certified in the Summit without taking Training Courses

Hi,

I will be attending the Summit in June, I wanted to pay for the certification and not the training, so would I be able to sit for the exam without taking the training course. Will taking the lessons from the free courses at https://customer-academy.databricks.com/ help prepare me for the exam, if so which ones specifically for the Data Scientist/Machine Learning path. Also I see that there are multiple courses within the Data Scientist section, will the certification will be for the Data Scientist path or just for Data Preparation for Machine Learning, .... and so forth. Also I see that there is a discount/promo code for the training, is there a similar voucher for the certifications. Thanks.
