Just to follow-up; I can administer & disable OTHER account admins and do the needful in every other case, but this one user account is particularly privileged.

Hello,

I am trying to deal with something I thought would be straightforward, but am hitting some walls. Basically the original user associated with my Databricks account has left my organisation and, when trying to remove / disable this user, I am met with access error (via the API a 403 response is returned).

My own user account is an admin and I am unsure about what I'm missing. Has anyone encountered this error? Is it because this user account was the first one used to setup this Databricks account?

Could you provide more details? You're trying to remove this user from workspace level or account level?
Do you use some script/rest api or you try to remove him manually?
