Hi @mariadelmar ,

If I understood correctly, you have an account in Databricks Free Edition and you would also like to log in to the Community Edition.
Now, if you did not previously have a registered account in the Community Edition (before the Free Edition was introduced), you will no longer be able to create an account in the Community Edition. This has been blocked because the Community Edition will soon be completely phased out.

As a workaround for your master's degree work, you can use docker container with pyspark. It will give you even more possibilites than community edition (which is pretty limited and you have single node cluster).

Hi all,

I am facing troubles to access the community version, when I access the log in process states that I have not a workspace, and I do as I have an account on the free version running out well. The point is that I am doing an exercise for master's degree and I have to activate a cluster, and as far as I know, the cluster only can be activated from the community edition. Please let me know how to solve it, my email account os m.olcina@hotmail.com.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Manu thanks in advance,

Mar.
