With Unity Catalog gone GA on Azure, we are working through initial tests for setup within Databricks and Azure. However, we are not seeing the "Create Metastore" button available as indicated in documentation. We're also not seeing any additional preconfigurations needed to have it enabled, and not able to create it via SQL commands. Another post shows an AWS cluster for community edition with "Unity Catalog" available, but I'm not finding cluster requirements for Azure.

Yes! We finally got a moment to get ahold of Microsoft Engineering, and found out there is a new login portal to go through. Once you are there and you have your Azure resources provisioned, you can begin setting up UC.

The new Azure Databricks account management login portal can be found through this URL:

https://accounts.azuredatabricks.net/login/

We have the same thing. After login in on that page it shows a list of all workspaces I have access to. I have access to two and my colleague to only one. When you click the name of a workspace it moves you to the normal experience for that workspace.
