      <description>&lt;P&gt;The result for databricks -v is correct and shows you've installed CLI correctly. the fs ls command need a&amp;nbsp; DIR_PATH which is a directory of the folder you're trying to get the list of files from.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply, when I install databricks cli in my windows, it was actually returning some directories even with databricks fs ls.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I installed in windows with pip. You think pip install different t from brew install in mac&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't think. The format of ls cmd is&amp;nbsp;"databricks fs ls DIR_PATH [flags]". If you try the&amp;nbsp; databricks fs ls -h, it shows you the info related to fs ls command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
