delta live tables - oracle connectivity

Is delta live tables/pipelines support oracle or external database connectivity ? i am getting Oracle Driver not found error. dlt not supporting maven install through asset bundles.

ERRORs:

1) py4j.protocol.Py4JJavaError: An error occurred while calling o920.load. : java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

2) y4j.protocol.Py4JJavaError: An error occurred while calling o664.load. : java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver at java.sql.DriverManager.getDriver(DriverManager.java:315)

Could you please provide some solutions ?

Hi @venkata_kishore ,

As of now, DLT does not support Oracle, and one cannot install third-party libraries and JARs.

If Lakehouse Federation has support for Oracle, then there is high likelihood of that being supported in DLT as well. I do not see Oracle support in Lakehouse Federation at this time.
