Short answer is NO. and I suppose that is not the purpose and right usage of Databricks One as It is meant to be the interface for the Business users, rather traditional data analysts.

Obviously, through Genie you could ask 'Explain Data' to provide the tables it has access to but nothing more than that. I would not necessarily encourage to have that information on DB-One.

Hi,

While working on Databricks one, I feel it would be very helpful to have an option that allows users to easily view the list of tables within a schema or database directly from the UI. This would improve navigation and make it easier to explore available data assets. The tabular representation of the data.

Is there already a feature or setting that enables this? If not, I’d like to suggest this as a feature enhancement.

Has anyone else felt the need for this?

Hi @Nidhig ,

As of now there's no such an option in Databricks One. You can list AI/BI genie spaces, dashboards and apps and that's all. It was designed specifically for business users and it gives these users a single, intuitive entry point to interact with data and AI- without needing to understand clusters, queries, models, or notebooks.

But of course you can submit a feedback to a product team and maybe your idea will be implemented in future release. You can try to do that at below link:
Feedback | Databricks
