I am planning to take the Gen AI certification. Any tips and guides to prepare for it.

I guess that the best way to prepare is to follow databricks academy modules related to GenAI.

Then I would check official exam guide and all the related information:

Here are some tips that you can follow:

1. Watch the Generative AI trainings in Databricks Academy
2. Watch the certification overview on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE0CvLjcZQ8
3. Go through the Generative AI fundamentals with use cases https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kAP4Wtvauw
4. Practice hands-on with RAG, Vector Search, Model Serving, MLflow and Unity Catalog
5. Take practice tests on Udemy or similar platforms and simulate timed exams
6. Read Databricks documentation and blogs on RAG, governance and monitoring
7. Check Reddit and Medium posts to learn from other people’s experiences
8. Focus more on the heavy weight areas like Application Development and Assembling or Deploying Apps
9. On exam day use elimination, flag uncertain answers, and manage your time carefully

This list isn't about only the exam, but it will help you strengthen your skills with GenAI in Databricks.
