Hello @sumeet_yadav,

You can check out the Exam Guide, which includes the topics covered in the exam, recommended training courses, and sample questions to help you prepare.

You can also use the AI Prep Guide, a free, exam-agnostic resource that shows you how to effectively use any AI chatbot to prepare for Databricks certification exams.

Regarding hands-on labs, if you prefer guided labs, you can check out the Databricks Academy Labs subscription. It's a paid offering that includes hands-on labs for multiple courses, including those in the Data Engineer learning path.

For personal practice, Databricks Free Edition is also a great option. You can use it to build and test ETL workflows, and other data engineering projects.

These resources should help you as you get closer to your exam. Best of luck with your preparation!

Hi Sumeet,

Along with the official Exam Guide and Databricks Academy resources, I would suggest preparing in three layers.

First, understand the exam topics clearly. Do not start only with mock questions. Make sure you are comfortable with Spark SQL, PySpark/DataFrames, Delta Lake, medallion architecture, workflows, incremental processing, data quality, and Unity Catalog basics.

Second, do hands-on practice in Databricks Free Edition. Even simple projects help a lot. Try loading raw data, cleaning it, saving it as Delta, creating tables, writing transformations, and building a small end-to-end pipeline. This makes the exam concepts much easier to remember.

Third, use practice exams only to test your gaps, not as your main learning source. After every wrong answer, go back and understand the concept behind it.

I also maintain BricksNotes, where we have free Databricks data engineering lessons and practice exams that may help with revision:

https://bricksnotes.com/lessons/start-here
https://bricksnotes.com/practice/databricks-data-engineer-associate

Best wishes for your preparation. Focus on concepts plus hands-on practice, and the exam will feel much more manageable.
