Good morning,

I took the course AI Agent Fundamentals Plan. I followed the Demo Building and Orchestrating an Agentic App but I don't know where to find the notebook in order to reproduce all the steps.

Can someone tell me how to find it, please?

Hi Daniela,

Unfortunately the notebook isn't shipped with that course. The self-paced version of AI Agent Fundamentals is lectures plus demos. The catalog page has no Lab tag, and a Community Manager confirmed in another thread that "lab materials are not available in self-paced courses". Courses that do include notebooks run them in a Vocareum lab environment, which you get with the Databricks Academy Labs subscription or with the instructor-led version. The catalog does list an instructor-led option for this course, but I couldn't confirm whether it includes a lab.

You can still reproduce the same flow in your own workspace, because the docs quickstart builds essentially what the demo shows: an agent deployed on Databricks Apps with a chat UI and MLflow evaluation. In the workspace, go to + New > App > Agents > Agent - OpenAI Agents SDK. It creates the app from the official template, and the full source is on GitHub if you want to read or change it. The only prerequisite in the docs is having Databricks Apps enabled in your workspace.

When that's running, the next page in the docs covers writing your own agent code and deploying it the same way. It's the closest thing to "reproduce all the steps" outside the course.
