Child-Parent Partnership

We have offices in both the US and India and are evaluating a parent-child structure in the Databricks Partner Program.

Most of our customers and business are US-based. Because of this, would there be any advantage to having the US entity as the parent versus the India entity as the parent from a partner program, co-sell, referral, or business development perspective?

Also, if we choose India as the parent and the US as the child, and the India parent achieves Silver status, would the Silver status and associated benefits extend across the entire hierarchy, or would the US entity still need to independently qualify?

We'd appreciate any insights from partners who have experience with a similar multi-country setup.
