Hi everyone,

I was trying to better understand the data engineering and the data science/ analytics space, and came across Databricks. I think I partially get what they are trying to do to merge these two spaces together for better collaboration, but I still do not fully understand its technical capabilities and what makes it different from other vendors in the spa Tweakbox ce (like Dataiku, SAS, RapidMiner).

Now, I "get" why the UI can be appealing technical people because it is code-friendly. However, I want to better understand what is so special about their "unified platform" that also does data engineering. I want to hear how different is the company's "data eng Appvalleyineering" capabilities for example building data pipelines, autoscaling infrastructure compared to its peers.
