It is disappointing to see that Databricks is quite at a premature stage and has just marketed the product, but the features are not ready to use yet.

Our requirement is fairly straightforward: to create an AI/BI dashboard in Databricks, publish and embed it on our application UI to be accessed by the application users(must not be Databricks users).

However, when we show the dashboard in an iframe, on the application side, it asks for Databricks user authentication. We are happy to create an application-level user and pass it internally, but I don't see any such options available.

We have searched through the internet, documentation for it, but either limited help is available or the suggested method does not work. It seems everything is in theory, ATM.

We have easily achieved this by using Power BI in our other applications, and we were considering replacing it with Databricks.

We have also proposed the Genie-enabled dashboard to our clients, and they are eager to see this working.

It has been more than a month, we couldn't achieve it, lost lots of time, and now we have only one option to switch back to Power BI and reconsider our future partnership with Databricks.

Hi @Amit-Kumar Have you considered consumer access? If your users are internal users, you can onboard them as workspace users and provision a read-only access to dashboards and Genie.

Alternatively, you could use embedded credentials approach for account-level users.

Databricks has announced Databricks One and I'm not sure if there is way to share this portal to non-Databricks users.

You can easily onboard users to Databricks using the SCIM APIs.
