set_experiment_description / set_runid_description

Is there anyway at all to update both experiment / run descriptions via the API, the only option I see is note.context for experiment - but that is a limited view and doesnt allow for hyper links.

Id like to automate exp/run descriptions externally to populate back on activities external, like jira task 'Done' to then populate the description with details.

Some thing like set_experiment_description / set_run_description

I see there is a similar function available for registered model - but would be very helpful for this type of feature.

Alternatives - the tags also dont appear accessible than in the console, but for these to interprest hyperlinks would be very handy.

Hi @Phil Meakins , The MLflow REST API allows you to create, list, and get experiments and runs, and log parameters, metrics, and artifacts. The API is hosted under the /api route on the MLflow tracking server. For example, to list experiments on a tracking server hosted at http://localhost:5000, access

http://localhost:5000/api/2.0/preview/mlflow/experiments/list.
