We are using Databricks on AWS. The main reason is the existing data platform is on AWS, so we want to shift the processing part to AWS which will help in reducing the integration with different source systems.

I primarily use Databricks on Azure. The main reasons are its seamless integration with other Azure services like Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Data Factory, which makes data ingestion, storage, and processing straightforward and efficient. Azure's strong support for enterprise security features, such as Azure Active Directory and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), also aligns well with data governance requirements in enterprise projects.

I am Using Azure Databricks, and also Community Version of Databricks(only for practice) and I use Azure Databricks because main reason it is Serverless and it have very strong integration with ML as it is helping me to work with Data Scientists as well (as it is a Collaborative Workspace).
