What are the challenges in stablish data governance and security trough the multi region platforms?

Hi

For multi region governance and administration I would strongly recommend to use Unity Catalog as the base, do not try to implement something without it. The common challenges are:

• Metastore managements (one per region)
• Delta Sharing Protocol : this is a MUST to have
• network security between regions: peering, routing, DNS
• feature availability like serverless
• disaster recovery  options
