Yesterday in Chicago, I attended one of the final stops of the Databricks DAIWT (Data & AI World Tour).
This tour brings the excitement and passion of our annual Data + AI Summit to over a dozen cities worldwide, in a condensed format.
Packed into just one day, you get many of the staples of a full-scale tech conference: a powerful keynote with customer case studies and product demos, breakout sessions organized by product area or industry, networking with Databricks product managers, an expo hall with our top partners, customer speakers, hands-on training, meals and snacks, and swag, all for one low price of FREE.
We covered the entire data platform from Lakeflow Designer, which creates production data pipelines with natural language, to Lakebase, our fully managed transactional database. We even had hundreds of customers participate in hands-on training with Agent Bricks, our new curated agent-building experience.
As a Databricks employee, my favorite part is hearing the great networking and conversations happening between people from diverse industries and various stages of their Databricks journey.
If you weren't able to attend one of these events, I highly recommend you check out our upcoming Virtual Data & AI World Tour on January 21, 2026.
If you attended the event, let me know what you thought in the comments below. What was your favorite part? What can we do better?
