PowerApps + Delta Lake

Is there any native way to Insert data from PowerApps directly into Delta Lake?

I can of course create a workflow - and push the data via API, but is there any alternative ?

Hi @lakime, There are a couple of ways you can achieve this:

1. Synapse Link for Dataverse:

   • Set up Synapse Link for Dataverse in your Azure environment.
   • Use the Make.powerapps UI to create a near-real-time data replication link from Dataverse to your chosen Delta Lake (which must be in the same region).
   • Once the link is established, you can:
     • Read Data: Access Dataverse data in Fabric directly from Power Apps.
     • Write Data: Use Power Apps to add, edit, and read data from the linked Delta Lake¹.

2. Upsert using MERGE SQL Operation:

   • You can upsert data from a source table, view, or DataFrame into a target Delta table by using the MERGE SQL operation.
   • Delta Lake supports inserts, updates, and deletes in MERGE, and it provides extended syntax beyond t...².
