Public preview API not working - artifact-allowlists

Shravanshibu

I am trying to hit

/api/2.1/unity-catalog/artifact-allowlists/
as a part of INIT migration script. Its is in public preview, do we need to enable anything else to use a API which is in Public preview. I am getting 404 error. But using same token for other API calls and working fine(I have admin privilege)

Hi @Shravanshibu ,

  • Verify that the URL you are using to access the API is correct. Ensure there are no typos or missing segments in the URL.
  • Double-check the endpoint path: /api/2.1/unity-catalog/artifact-allowlists/.
  • Confirm that the API is available and running. A 404 error occurs when the server cannot find the specified resource.
  • Check if the API is deployed and accessible. If itโ€™s not, youโ€™ll receive a 404 response.
  • Ensure that the API is running on the correct port. If itโ€™s running on a different port, adjust your URL accordingly.
  • Consider creating a proxy that redirects requests to the correct port where the API is hosted1.
  • Since you mentioned that the same token works for other API calls, it seems that your authorization token is valid.
  • However, ensure that the token has the necessary permissions to access the specific API endpoint (/api/2.1/unity-catalog/artifact-allowlists/).
