Learning via Free Trial Azure

Hi I am following a Databricks course on Udemy and the course instructed to access Databricks via the free trial of Azure. Once I created my account on Azure and load Databricks, I try to create a cluster but this never succeeds. It takes an extremely long time to process and ends up in an error message. Is there a particular configuration for a cluster that will guarantee success?

I think @Retired_mod is on point with resource quota.

Azure free trial/Student/Pass subscription has a limit of 4 cores, and you cannot create Databricks cluster multi node using a Free Subscription because it requires more than 8 cores.

So try to create single node cluster and not to exceed limit of 4 cores
