Day 2 Recap · Wednesday, June 17, 2026

The booth got louder.
Literally.

Day 2 was when Day 1 turned all the way up. More attendees. More conversations. A megaphone. Limited-edition Legos flying off the booth. And volunteers jumping in like they were always going to. Here's how it went down.

📢 The escalator moment

When Mandy grabbed the megaphone.

At one point on Day 2, Mandy Ross looked at the escalator, looked at the megaphone toy on the booth, and just… ran with it. Suddenly there was a friendly voice calling out at every person stepping off the escalator: “Come to Community!” And honestly? It worked. The booth got busier almost immediately. New folks. Old friends. Curious passers-by. Everyone.

Three of the people who made the booth feel like home on Day 2. The kind of energy that pulls people in.

Today the booth was full of people from so many different countries, companies, and walks of life. Builders, leaders, first-time attendees, long-time community members, all in one place. That's the whole point.

In the trenches

The volunteers carried Day 2.

Massive shout-out to every single booth volunteer today. They didn't just show up, they jumped in like the Databricks experts that they are. Helping attendees, answering questions, walking people through the Community, running back to grab swag, then doing it all over again. The booth runs because of them.

From everywhere

The booth was the world today.

Day 2 brought builders from all over - different countries, different companies, different backgrounds, same enthusiasm. A few moments from the floor.

What a day! 🙌

Huge thanks to all the volunteers, Community Champions, and attendees who stopped by the booth and made Day 2 so memorable. The energy was incredible from start to finish, and seeing so many people connect, learn, and engage with the Community was amazing.

Also, special recognition to @MandyR  and her now-famous toy megaphone, which may have officially earned a place in Community Summit history. 📢😄

See you all on Day 3!
