Hello @ChandraR!
Happy to help you get started on your Databricks journey!
To begin, it's important to get familiar with the Databricks ecosystem, including key components like the Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and Unity Catalog.
A great starting point is the course: Get Started with Databricks for Data Engineering. It covers foundational concepts and simple data engineering workflows. After that, you can start with the Data Engineer Learning Plan to build your skills further.
To get hands-on practice, try the Databricks Hands-on Labs. There are two ways to access them:
- Instructor-Led Training (ILT): You'll get 7-day lab access along with guidance from instructors and helpful resources.
- Academy Lab Subscription: Best if you're exploring multiple courses, with 1-year access to labs across different topics.
Once you're confident, consider pursuing the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate certification. It validates your understanding of the Lakehouse Platform, multi-hop ETL, pipeline implementation and several other key data engineering concepts.
Finally, donโt forget to stay active in the Community ๐.You can also explore more training options here: https://www.databricks.com/learn/training/home
Wishing you all the best on your learning path!
