Hi,
I’m trying to work in Databricks, but too many things in the workspace UI are not working properly. Almost everything is stuck on infinite loading.
Here are the symptoms:
Jobs DAG (Tasks tab) infinite loading
I can see the job Runs history.
However, when I click the Tasks tab, it just keeps loading forever.
Also, from the Runs tab, when I click into a specific task run (where I used to be able to see the notebook run result/outputs), that page also stays on infinite loading.
Compute page infinite loading
Clicking Compute in the left menu never finishes loading.
SQL Editor infinite loading
Clicking SQL Editor also results in an infinite loading spinner.
Notebooks infinite loading
When I try to open any notebook for work, the notebook UI never finishes loading.
According to the Databricks status page, there are no incidents reported for AWS / ap-northeast-2, but my workspace is basically unusable right now because of these loading issues.
Cloud / Region: AWS, ap-northeast-2
Is this a known issue, or is there something misconfigured on my workspace/account side?
Any guidance on how to troubleshoot or fix this (e.g., settings to check, logs to look at, or things an admin should verify) would be appreciated.

Thank you all for your help.
The issue lasted for about an hour. Here's what I tried:
- Changed networks: same issue
- Cleared cache: same issue
If I run into a similar problem next time, I'll also try using a different browser and checking the AWS status.
Have a great day, every one!

Hello @JIWON!
Are you still experiencing this issue? It likely points to a network issue blocking Databricks UI assets, not a workspace setting. You can also try accessing it from a non-corporate network to confirm.

If multiple UI pages like Jobs DAG, Compute, SQL Editor, and Notebooks are stuck on infinite loading in AWS ap-nor, it’s often related to a temporary service issue or a browser/session problem. Try these steps:
Check AWS Service Status – Sometimes the region (ap-nor) may be experiencing issues.
Clear Browser Cache or Try Incognito Mode – Cached data can cause the UI to hang.
Switch Browser or Device – Helps rule out browser-specific issues.
Check Network/Firewall Settings – Make sure nothing is blocking AWS endpoints.
Restart the Session – Log out and log back in.
If the problem persists, contact AWS Support with your session ID and region details so they can investigate.

Make sure that you don't have an adblocker running. Had a similar issue today.
