My last 5 clients have used Databricks on Azure. It seems that it comes down to the entry points they have. Companies are already using the Microsoft stack in other contexts. They are great at integrating their portfolio of solutions. They have a great market share in Norway!

Azure. Trying to get a small dev version setup in GCP or AWS but may have to go that route as a personal project.

Cool! Do you have a rough estimate of how much it could cost to set up a personal Databricks workspace in either AWS or GCP? I know this depends on the compute you use but some ballpark?
