Try to copy the link and try in Incognito or guest mode, again safety feature appears but this time to can select proceed anyway. You will get sos login page, give your mail address and enter the code. You will be in your learning platform, this approach worked for me.

Hi @J_Anderson ,
I'm trying to enrol for the "Data Engineering with Databricks" course and when I click the link it says the website certificate has expired. I am now unable to access the course. I attached screenshots for reference. Please provide any suggestions to work around this.
Thank you

Hi @J_Anderson, Thanks for compiling the event details. I have a quick question:
I am planning to appear for Spark Developer Associate exam. However, I am unable to see the corresponding certificate info tabulated. Can I make use of the voucher (once the learning path is completed) to register for Spark developer associate certification?
Thanks in advance.

@Sai_Phani_Ram to confirm, so long as you complete one of the learning plans listed in the table above, you will receive a 50% certification voucher which can be used on any Databricks Certification Exam (including the Spark Developer Associate). So please ensure you complete one of the 6 eligible courses listed above in order to qualify.

so basically, in order to pay 100$ instead of 200$ for the certification test, we need to finish the course which requires databricks academy access in order to work on labs in the parallel. That seems like a good marketing strategy, I just don't see much of a difference here that you are trying to make

Yes, it seems like starting any course and working parallel with the instructor, we require to subscribe for databricks academy. Team doesn't provide any platform to practice along the way 😞

You are welcome to gain hands-on experience within your own Databricks environment or via Databricks Community Edition. I would also highly recommend checking out our tutorials which provide examples of end-to-end databricks implementations for specific use cases. These notebooks can be freely downloaded into your own environment 🙂

@pinkcitykid to clarify, you do not need access to Academy Labs in order to complete the self-paced courses. The hands-on labs provided via Databricks Academy labs provide a supplementary opportunity to reinforce understanding of the topics, but the self-paced videos will still provide a full overview of the content required to pass any of our certification exams.

Well kudos for you to be TECHNICALLY correct. But enlighten me, how would I practice on the lab dataset that is used for demo in the courses, but exists only within the academy subscription.

I agree, the phrase "It's Free" is miss-leading & not correct
