2. Yes, we monitor any of the completed courses during this timeframe. You will know when a course has been completed once a tick mark appears next to the content. To confirm, all vouchers will be sent out after the event has concluded (in early November)

Hi, some of the courses in the "learning pathways" described in the initiative are in English but has versions in other languages. If I conclude the couse in another language did I still elegigle to the discounts?

Hi everyone, I’m new to Databricks and have recently completed the Databricks Fundamentals and Generative AI Fundamentals accreditations. I come from an application development background and I’m interested in pursuing the Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate certification.

Could anyone share guidance, preparation tips, or recommended resources for this certification?

Thanks @SevnSins. Yes, I’ve chosen Learning Pathway 6: Generative AI Engineering. As someone new to AI, I’d like to confirm—would dedicating 8 hours to learning and hands-on lab practice within this pathway be sufficient to achieve certification?

I can't answer that, as I don't have the credentials to confirm. Based on the information I have gathered; if you finish 1 learning path, you are credited with a coupon for a single certification exam, of any type. If you feel that the learning path will lead you to passing the exam you are going for, the answer is yes in my opinion. Example: If you go though Pathway 6, but choose to take a different certification exam, the coupon still applies. That's just based on what I've been reading. If I'm wrong, someone please let us know.

I got GenAI Associate certified on 5th May 2025. I followed below steps

Downloaded the Certification Guide - read about each topic on Databricks website. Do check the course content before appearing for the exam.
LEARNING PATHWAY 6: GENERATIVE AI ENGINEERING - Completed all the modules. These modules are very important. Go through these modules very thoroughly, make notes, and revise. Practice the lab / coding part - gives better understanding.

How much time I took to prepare - around 1 month

I cleared the Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate end of last month. Few things that I followed,

Of course, picking up the GENERATIVE AI ENGINEERING Learning path here,
There is very nice course Large Language Models (LLMs): Application through Production, in the Customer Academy which is very helpful to prep for the certificate.
Go through the Exam outlines in the Databricks Certified Generative AI Engineer Associate - Exam Guide.

Enjoy the experience of learning this & you should be good to go...

Assuming you complete the listed courses during this duration, you will be eligible. Within Academy itself, the status of the course should transition to completed once you have watched all videos within the learning pathway.

I have few following concerns on this virtual festival.
1) How do the databricks team track which account is able to complete a Learning Path ?
2) The registered account for Community login and Customer login should be same ? or Can they be different ?
3) If we are able to complete more than one learning path, Are we going to receive 50% off on all completed databricks learning paths ?

Only 1 certification voucher will be given, regardless of the number of learning paths you complete. That is what I've seen in previous requests for this question.

2) They can be different. In early November, the incentives will be sent to the email associated with your Academy account.
