Hi folks i was exploring the databricks community edition and came across a cluster issue mostly because of jdbc driver java.util.timeoutexception . basically the cluster connects and executes for 15 sec or so which is a socket limit and disables any fix let me know happy to hear your answer attached a image so you can have a look on!.

Thanks!

Kishore.

The `java.util.Timeoutexception` with JDBC in Databricks Community Edition, limiting execution to around 15 seconds, likely stems from resource constraints or network limitations inherent in the free tier. While you can try simplifying queries, checking cluster metrics, reviewing JDBC connection properties, and ensuring a stable internet connection, the 15-second timeout might be a platform-level constraint. For more control over timeouts and resources, consider a paid Databricks subscription. Continue engaging with the Databricks Community forum for Community Edition-specific workarounds.
