How to switch Workspaces via menue

RobinK

Hello,

In various webinars and videos featuring Databricks instructors, I have noticed that it is possible to switch between different workspaces using the top menu within a workspace. However, in our organization, we have three separate workspaces within the same region and metastore. Although I can see the name of the workspace displayed in the top bar, I am unable to switch between them directly. Instead, I have to open each workspace's URL in a browser and log in separately.

Could you please guide me on how to switch workspaces directly via the top bar?

Hi @RobinK
can you pls check if you have same subscription for the all the assigned workspaces?

Hi,

all workspaces have the same subscription ("Premium"), are in the same cloud region ("eu-central-1") and have the same metastore.

It is not possible to switch the workspace, there is no menu / arrow next to the workspace name. I have to open them via account console or url.

Hi @RobinK
looking at screenshots provided i can see you have access to different workspaces but still the dropdown is not visible for you, i also checked if there is any setting for same but i didnt found it.

you can raise a ticket to databricks and get support from them.
