For me, Azure stands out as the ideal cloud platform for Databricks due to its seamless integration with other Azure services and enterprise-level security features. Using Databricks on Azure allows me to easily connect with tools like Azure Data Lake and Synapse Analytics, making data ingestion and processing very efficient.
Plus, Azure’s strong support for AI and ML workloads provides the flexibility I need for advanced analytics projects. The combination of performance, security, and ease of integration on Azure makes it my go-to choice.

We are using Azure Databricks for client project with hybrid architecture from orchestration point of view as the implementation is at Enterprise level. The journey started with Databricks as Data lake and then migrated our Business warehouse layer from Azure SQL to Databricks SQL making it a complete Lakehouse implementation. Later we completely migrated from workspace mode to unity catalog mode and adding more recent features like delta sharing, liquid clustering etc. For our Data Practice initiatives, we have AWS Databricks sandbox environment enabling us to work on all the POCs we take up for presales, client demoes etc.
