Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to submit your research to the 1st Workshop on Federated Learning for Unbounded and Intelligent Decentralization (FLUID), which will be held on March 4th, 2025, at AAAI 2025 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
The FLUID workshop aims to address key challenges in Federated Learning (FL), particularly in achieving adaptability and scalability in decentralized AI systems, especially in environments with non-IID data and varied device capabilities. We strive to bridge the gap between theoretical advances and real-world applications by emphasizing practical methodologies and case studies. While adaptability, decentralization, and heterogeneity in FL are widely explored in academia, a significant gap remains in moving from simulation to real-world application. FLUID is designed to bridge this gap, focusing on solutions that are ready for real-life deployment in sectors like healthcare, smart cities, finance, and autonomous systems.
We are excited to announce two prominent keynote speakers @FLUID:
- Holger Roth, Principal Federated Learning Scientist at NVIDIA
- Yang Liu, Associate Professor at the Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR), Tsinghua University
