I enrolled in the "Building Agentic Applications on Databricks" e-learning course, and while following the demo "Building Agentic Applications on Databricks," I couldn't find the resource material for the files in ./Includes/Classroom-Setup-2. Where can I find them? I'm using the Databricks Free Edition lab.

Hi! I'm currently doing the Databricks Fundamentals Learning Plan and therés a couple of topics (Catalogs and Notebooks) where to follow up with the training I need a notebook name Databricks Fundamentals. In both videos, the video makes reference to the Free Workspace which is not my case, and in my non-free workspace I don't have that notebook. IS it possible to download from some place so I can import it? I think I'm losing a lot of details by not being able to follow those steps from the learning.

What is the duration of the Databricks Advanced Learning Festival?

It is from 16 September to 14 October 2026.

Who can attend the Databricks Advanced Learning Festival?

It is open to Databricks Customer Academy Users. Please note that the initiative is not open to users of Databricks Partner Academy, since discounted certifications are already available to these individuals through our partner initiatives.

Does the Databricks Advanced Learning Festival come with a hands-on lab environment?

No. If you would like to learn through hands-on practice, please take advantage of the 20% discount voucher for Databricks Academy Labs, which will be distributed to all eligible participants after the event on October 19, 2026. For more hands-on training options, please see our Public Training Schedule.

I am an existing Databricks Academy user. How do these courses differ from the ones I already have?

For whitelisted users and accounts, you may already have the same course contents, except for the additional incentive of a certification voucher and Databricks Academy Labs coupon for completing the course. In addition, there are selected Databricks experts to help answer your questions within the Databricks Academy Learners Group on Databricks Community, as you embark on this self-paced learning journey.

This virtual festival has been designed to help you complete your training, expand your data and AI skills, prepare for Databricks certification exams, and advance your career with Databricks.

Incentives

What are the requirements to qualify for the 50% off certification voucher and 20% Academy Labs coupon?

A 50% off Databricks certification voucher (worth US$100) and a 20% discount coupon for Databricks Academy Labs will be provided to users who complete at least one of the listed learning pathways within the duration of the virtual Databricks Learning Festival (i.e., 16 September to 14 October 2026). In other words, the requirements are:

Complete at least one of the learning pathways listed within the community event; and
Complete the learning pathway(s) within the duration of 16 September to 14 October 2026.

How can I check whether I have completed the required modules?

Log in to your Databricks Customer Academy account and select 'My Activities' within the user menu in the top left. Under the Courses tab, you can verify whether all courses within a given learning pathway have been logged as completed within the eligible window.

If I complete multiple courses, can I get multiple vouchers and coupons?

No. Each learner is only eligible to receive one 50% discount voucher and one 20% discount coupon for Databricks Academy Labs, whether the learner completes one or multiple learning pathways. For example, if you complete both the Data Analyst and Associate Data Engineering learning pathways, you will be eligible for one 50% discount certification voucher and one 20% discount coupon for Databricks Academy Labs.

How long is the 50% off certification voucher valid for?

The voucher will be valid for approximately 90 days and will expire before 17 January 2027. You must schedule and sit for the exam before this date. We strongly recommend booking your slot early, since spaces are limited.

How long is the 20% Academy Labs coupon valid for?

The coupon will be valid for approximately 90 days and will expire before 17 January 2027.

Which exams can I use the voucher for?

Any of the Databricks Certifications listed here.

How can I receive the voucher and coupon, and when will I receive them?

The voucher and coupon will be distributed on October 19, 2026, after the event has concluded. The incentives will be sent to the email address of your Databricks Academy account.

Is there anything I need to know about registering my WebAssessor account to redeem the voucher?

Yes. When you register for your WebAssessor account, please use the same email address that is associated with your Databricks Customer Academy account. Vouchers for this event are scoped to that email address and can only be redeemed by it. If you already have a WebAssessor account under a different email address, you can add your Academy email as a secondary email on your existing account.

Can I combine the certification voucher with other offers like success credits?

No. The certification voucher cannot be combined with other offers or success credits.

Not Able to Remove Courses

Over time, I have enrolled in various courses and learning paths. Some I do not plan on completing and some are now expired and unusable. However, these remain persistent in my "My Courses and Learning Plans" page, making it cluttered and difficult to find my active courses.

Can you please add functionality to remove or withdraw from courses so we have more control over what our "My Courses and Learning Plans" page looks like over time.

Prepping for the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam and looking for good practice resources before I sit for it.

Where I'm at: solid with SQL and Python, completed the Data Engineer learning path(know the fundamentals (Delta Lake,Lakehouse,Databricks SQL,workflows), and have written some PySpark pipelines to get handson.

Looking for practice exams/question banks close to the real thing, and any hands-on labs to sharpen Spark Delta Lake concepts.
Free or paid both welcome.

All the courses seem to be disjointed, some show videos, other transitioning to slides, some using notebooks as labs, some the new Vocareum labs?

The role-based learning paths at the landing page at https://customer-academy.databricks.com/ seem to be outdated - at least I cannot find a way to access the labs, despite having a customer subscription.

All in all not a pleasant learning experience, I am afraid. 😞

Please provide some comprehensive guidance for a current, working learning path for Databricks Data Engineering role-based-path. Thanks!

I have enrolled in the Associate Data Engineering learning pathway as part of the Virtual Learning Festival. However, I am unable to play any of the course videos.

When I open the course modules, only the page loads and the video content does not start playing. Because of this issue, I am unable to continue the training and complete the pathway requirements.

I am an existing customer. I have taken few modules from the learning path. So if I want to avail the 50% certification voucher, can I take any one of the learning paths with existing id ? or do I need to create a new id and take it? If I am eligible for taking the learning path, Do I have to take a new module which I didn't complete or can I take the same module which I have already completed. Please suggest.

I am new to Databricks and trying to learn how to build pipelines in Lakeflow.

In the course Build Data Pipelines with Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines https://partner-academy.databricks.com/learn/courses/2971/build-data-pipelines-with-lakeflow-spark-declarative-pipelines , there is a demo video. I am not able to find the files/notebooks mentioned in the video.
