Hi Databricks support team,

I'm using databricks-claude-sonnet-3.7 through Azure Databricks, and I got this error: Error: 403 {"error_code":"PERMISSION_DENIED","message":"PERMISSION_DENIED: Endpoint databricks-claude-sonnet-3.7 is not allowed to be used by your workspace. Please reach out to Databricks to enable this endpoint for your workspace or upgrade your workspace tier."} and I can't use it anymore.

I contacted the Databricks help center and received the following reply.

I am the admin of some Azure Databricks workspaces. However, since I access Databricks services through my Azure account rather than having a native Databricks account, I appear to lack direct access to Databricks support channels.

Could you please help me enable my workspaces?

Thank you for your assistance.

--------------------------

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to Databricks Support!

As per our records, the account has not purchased any of the support contracts (business, enhanced, or production support). So we kindly request you to reach out to your account executive via email to confirm this information and determine the next steps for assisting you.

I would kindly recommend posting your question in detail on https://community.databricks.com/s/, where one of our community engineers can help provide you with guidance.

To learn more about support packages, please refer to the below document. https://www.databricks.com/support

Regards,

Databricks Support

Hi @momo0101 ,

Unfortunately we can't help you enable it. This endpoint needs to be manually enabled by Databricks for your workspace.
You have 2 options:

- wait until Anthropic will resolve capacity issues and then this endpoint will be again available for all customers

- create support ticket and asked them to enable it for you

They replied that your account has not purchased any support contracts. Could you ask your Databricks account admin to check again? You might actually have support contracts, but they are probably associated with the account that first created Databricks in your tenant (most likely your Azure tenant admin).
