Delta Live Tables support for Unity Catalog is in Public Preview

Databricks recommends setting up Delta Live Tables pipelines using Unity Catalog.

When configured with Unity Catalog, these pipelines publish all defined materialized views and streaming tables to the designated catalog and schema. Additionally, Unity Catalog pipelines can read from other tables and volumes within Unity Catalog.

To manage permissions for the tables created by a Unity Catalog pipeline, utilize the GRANT and REVOKE commands.
