    <description>&lt;P dir="ltr"&gt;To improve scalability and enable new features, Databricks classic compute plane will start communicating to the Databricks control plane over 10 new ports:&amp;nbsp;3306&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;8443-8451. You may need to update your network configurations before we start using these ports on&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;July 22, 2025.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please ensure that the cloud administrator responsible for managing port configurations in your organization reviews the information below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Action Required by July 22, 2025&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;For existing workspaces: If you have changed the security groups or network access lists of your workspaces, or you have a workspace in a&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://docs.databricks.com/aws/en/security/network/classic/customer-managed-vpc" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://docs.databricks.com/aws/en/security/network/classic/customer-managed-vpc&amp;amp;source=gmail&amp;amp;ust=1749059278084000&amp;amp;usg=AOvVaw1QVyuaBdbmhmvTe706PMl-"&gt;customer-managed VPC&lt;/A&gt;, please ensure your egress rules allow these new ports.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;For new workspaces: Ensure the new ports are allowed in your security groups and network access lists.&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;3rd party firewall or Egress Proxy:

&lt;LI&gt;If the traffic from your Databricks VPC is egressed through another appliance (e.g. a firewall), please ensure that these ports are also allow-listed in that appliance.&lt;/LI&gt;
