I get same response as @eminescence today 10 Jan 2026. On Serverless. 

Then [Diagnose Error] says:  "The CREATE SERVICE CREDENTIAL statement is not supported in Databricks SQL. To access Azure Key Vault secrets in Databricks, you should use Databricks secrets and secret scopes instead."   

so... totally contradicting this article!
