Documentation Typo

Hi Databricks team!

I noticed that there is a typo in the Hadoop Distributed File System(HDFS) documentation. The specific typo: "Datablocks are replicated across multiple datanotes and accessed by the NameNode.” Where “datanotes” should be corrected to “datanodes”. I tried to email doc-feedback@databricks.com but got back the response that the group does not exist so I figured to raise this here. Looking forward to hearing back!

Hi @zhibinwang,

Thanks for catching this! I’ve passed your feedback directly to the Databricks docs team internally so they can fix the “datanotes” typo to “DataNodes” on that HDFS glossary page.

If you run into other doc issues, the official feedback address is doc-feedback@databricks.com (I’ve also flagged that you saw a bounce, so they can double-check it on their side as well).

If this answer resolves your question, could you mark it as “Accept as Solution”? That helps other users quickly find the correct fix.
