Have you tried clicking on your name (A) on the right top corner?

There is a feature there:

Maybe that would update the UI?

Thank you, but when I click my name on the top right, I don't get any option for Previews or any option that says Improved Navigation and Homepage. I attached the options I get. 

What cloud provider do you use? 

So this is the Databricks Community Edition so it does not require using a cloud provider.
