This is really unfortunate. It would go past the trial period in that case which seems to be 14 days.

Hey Walter, I seem to have the Serverless Option but it seems to be enabled AFTER the trial period. Is that a deliberate decision and if so it is quite unfortunate as this is REALLY one of the best features of DB ecosystem.

it seems it is not specific to trial mode, as per the information I received from Engineering team, it seems that for new created accounts it can take up to 15 days to have serverless enabled on their workspaces. This will probably be improved in the future.

Hi,
We are experiencing the same at all of our clients. So it definitely seems to not have anything to do with newly created accounts for us? @Walter_C , could you check again with the Engineering Team of this makes sense?

I'm also experiencing this issue:
- I'm using a Premium Databricks subscription deployed on Azure in January 2025.
- I've confirmed that Unity Catalogue is enabled in my subscription.
- I've accessed my Account Console. Serveless Compute doesn't present as an option under Feature Enablement.
- There is no option to connect to Serverless Compute from a notebook in the Databricks workspace.
This feature is a key motivator for using the platform. Could you please advise whether I should lodge a ticket or when I can I expect this issue to be resolved?
Thanks

I have Azure Premium subscription. I have few Databricks workspaces. All the workspaces enabled for a Unity Catlog has the option to connect the Python notebooks to a Serverless compute and run. You don't even have to enable the serverless feature in the settings. The workspace not enabled for Unity Catalog don't have the Serverless option. This could be the most recent offering by the Databricks.

We have the same exact thing happening. The /config endpoint shows it is enabled, but we can not select it. The account is several month old. @Walter_C could you help out here as well?
