Hi everyone,
I’ve been exploring Databricks Apps and building a frontend using React within the Databricks environment. I wanted to know if it’s currently possible to publish a Databricks App to the Databricks Marketplace, similar to how datasets, notebooks, or ML models are shared there.
Specifically:
Does Databricks support publishing custom-built apps (React-based UIs) to the Marketplace?
If not yet supported, is there any planned roadmap or alternative approach (like sharing via catalog, workspace import, or private partner listing)?
Would appreciate any official clarification or guidance from the Databricks team or anyone who has tried this.
Thanks!

Hi @taksheel-a-n
According to the documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databricks/marketplace/ . Here's a list of the types of assets that are supported:
According to this post, there's not a public facing roadmap: https://community.databricks.com/t5/administration-architecture/databricks-roadmap/m-p/126999/highli...
It seems there is a webinar you can attend with QA available each quarter to discuss the roadmap

Another place to keep your eye on @taksheel-a-n is the product releases:

All the best,
