I found a page that tells the compatibility between Databricks and Hive metastore versions: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databricks/data/metastores/external-hive-metastore
But the information is only up to Databricks 7.1. Anywhere I can find information for Databricks 9.1 ?

I believe that it is Databricks Runtime Version 7.x and above.
I saw that recently and also thought that it is unclear.

it still should work with 7.x +. version. Are you seeing any issue on your cluster ? @Jeffrey Mak
