Apache Spark Developer's Learning Plan? How to access the notebooks and the lab?

I am taking the following learning plan. It is pure hands on (Python and PySpark). No where in the course it is mentioned where to find the notebooks used by the instructor and where to run them even if it is a paid service!!

Hello @SBL!

The learning plans don’t include hands-on labs. There are two ways you can access the lab materials to practice what’s being taught:

  • Enroll in an Instructor-Led Training (ILT) course – Enroll in Apache Spark™ Programming with Databricks (include four modules) and Introduction to Python for Data Science and Data Engineering courses, which include hands-on labs and provide 7-day access to them.
  • Get a Databricks Academy Labs subscription – This is a great option for long-term access. It includes lab materials for all the courses mentioned in the learning plan, along with many other self-paced courses, available for an entire year.

One more question, if I pay 200 dollars for the Labs do I still need to pay 75 dollars for thye individual courses? There are 36 courses showing in the Academy Labs and each have 75 dollars as their individual cost. Please check the screenshot attached.

No @SBL, you don’t need to pay separately for those courses. All 36 English courses shown will be available to you as part of the Academy Labs subscription.

hey @SBL ,
As a potential third option - I would encourage you to find your own dataset/challenge, and follow the tutorials with your own scenerio!
I found this very useful with other learning paths, not necessarily the spark developer task. Kaggle is a great option for free datasets.

Thanks for the third option. That is good alternative. I already have Azure Premium subscription so I can just find a good dataset and do all the hands-on in the courses.
