Hi everyone!
I’m currently preparing for the Data Engineer Associate Certification and working through the recommended courses.
While going through the course "Deploy Workloads with Lakeflow Jobs," I’ve noticed that some of the lectures feel quite advanced for the Associate level — though I may be mistaken.
Could anyone clarify what level of depth is actually expected to meet the exam requirements?
Thanks in advance,
Carlos

Hi @Carlos-Mayo ,
The Associate exam expects competency with introductory data engineering tasks, including configuring and scheduling workflows, not deep, enterprise CI/CD or advanced orchestration patterns.
Have you seen the latest Associate Exam Guide? In my opinion, it is the best resource for understanding what you need to know about each topic. It also provides some sample questions.

Hi @stbjelcevic ,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Indeed, I had seen the latest exam guide, specifically, Section 4: Productionizing Data Pipelines.
I wasn´t sure about the expected level of depth for "Deploy a workflow, repair, and rerun a task in case of failure.", but your reply helps to narrow it down.
Thanks
