Hello everyone. I’m new to the Databricks family but last week received my Associate certificate in Databricks fundamentals. Any advice on how to get better at Databricks?

Welcome to the fam @rtimber82 !! Congratulations on your certification. My advice would be to treat it like a sport - you only get better when you keep showing up everyday, even for 15 mins or so.

Hi @rtimber82 !
Welcome to the community. I'm assuming you're already familiar with the standard learning resources, but here are a few key ones I highly recommend keeping in your toolkit:
Databricks Academy: Great for structured, track-based learning. Link
Databricks Demos (dbdemos): Perfect for quick, bite-sized product tutorials and feature references. Link
Beyond that, my biggest piece of advice is to dive into the community portal discussions. Don't just skim them—look for interesting problems, take a moment to think about how you would solve them, and then read the perspectives other members share. That’s how you build the kind of insight that usually only comes from hands-on experience.
If you have something to add, jump in and share your perspective! Staying active like this is the best way to learn and actually retain the knowledge. Finally, whenever you uncover an interesting solution or feel inspired, write a quick blog post about it here. It truly goes a long way.
Glad to have you with us!

Databricks academy is the best way to get started. Understanding the spark fundamentals will be great addition to your skillset.
