Order of common questions in genie room

I want to add a set of Common Questions to my genie room as a guideline for users of what functions (i.e., question types) they are encouraged to choose from.  I want it to be like a pseudo-menu, with functions F1, F2, and F3.  The actual questions will say things like "F1:  find historical records for <topic type>", "F2:  generate crosstabs", etc.

I can't find a way to control the order in which the questions are visible to the user in the chat window.  It seems to order the questions according to no principle I can recognize.  (Not even visibly related to order in which the questions were created in the config.)  Is it controllable?

Also, can I persuade the genie to show only the Common Questions I've entered, without making up any of its own to fill empty slots?  It seems to want to have no fewer than five suggested questions visible.

Unfortunately, not at the moment. I've explored this as well, including the possibility of removing or customizing the menu/action buttons, but there currently isn't any control available for that.

The only option is to include a list of suggested questions in the description or welcome message. However, these are not rendered as functional buttons, and the suggested prompts are typically shown only when users first open the Genie space.

As of now, there is no built-in capability to:

  • Add custom action buttons
  • Remove or customize the default menu options
  • Pin suggested questions as persistent clickable buttons
  • Fully customize the Genie interface beyond the available settings (name, description, welcome message, instructions, and sample prompts)

For the time being, the best approach is to provide clear example questions in the welcome message and guide users on how to interact with the Genie space.

Or else you create your own UI using Appkit but this is basic chat, you will have improve on top of it.
