Meta Ads is now a native data source in Databricks

Databricks just announced a Meta Ads connector (Beta) powered by Lakeflow Connect, making it easy to ingest advertising data directly into Databricks—no custom APIs, no CSV exports, no brittle scripts.

With this connector, Meta Ads data becomes a first-class citizen in the Lakehouse, sitting alongside product, finance, and customer data.

Why this matters:

  • Direct ingestion from Meta Ads using a built-in connector
  • Incremental loads handled automatically
  • Data lands as Delta streaming tables
  • Less pipeline maintenance for data engineers

You can ingest key objects like campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, and ad_insights, with flexible breakdowns (age, gender, country, device, placement) and daily performance metrics.

Great update :  this is a big win for analytics teams.
The new Meta Ads native connector (Beta) in Databricks, powered by Lakeflow Connect, significantly reduces the operational burden that typically comes with ad-tech ingestion.

Excited to see Lakeflow Connect expanding to more SaaS and ad platforms. Looking forward to trying this out and sharing learnings as the beta matures.

Have to test it. Confluence Lakeflow Connect is amazing, so I suspect that one also!
