Following the documentation

After the EOL date:

• No more security patches, performance improvements, or bug fixes are provided.

• Existing jobs and clusters will continue to run, but "Databricks reserves the right to completely remove a runtime version at any time after its support ends — without prior notice"

This means that your production workloads could stop functioning unexpectedly if the runtime is deprecated from the platform.

Extended Support? Currently, Databricks does not provide extended support options beyond the official EOL date.

So It would be better if you try to migrate to latest LTS to avoid last min huddles
