It’s not mandatory to take the Machine Learning Associate exam before the Professional exam. You can choose to go directly for the Professional exam if you feel confident in your preparation.

Starting with the Associate exam is often recommended, as it helps build a strong foundation and makes it easier to approach the more advanced topics covered in the Professional-level exam.
